POST https://patentgap.dropwatchhq.com/mcp — JSON‑RPC 2.0 (initialize → tools/list → tools/call), transport streamable‑http.

Free tools

• list_categories — tracked private‑label categories.
• newly_expirable — cross‑category feed of freshly off‑patent designs (recall + supplier screened).
• screen_patent — one patent by publication number → expiry + recall band + supplier screen.

Paid tool (x402, $0.03 USDC on Base)

• category_opportunity_report — full screened opportunity set for a category. Free callers get a preview + x402 challenge; pay to unlock the full report.

REST (read‑only)

• GET /api/categories
• GET /api/feed?limit=30 — cross‑category newly‑expirable feed.
• GET /api/category/<slug>?limit=25 — screened category feed (free preview cap; full report = paid MCP tool).
• GET /api/patent/<publication_number> — single screened patent.
